The Myth of Cyparissus by Lepon The Myth of Cyparissus by Lepon
Based on one of my favorite Greek myths of all time. Cyparissus was one of Apollo's lovers/students, if you will. Apollo had gifted him with a tame deer. Unfortunately, Cyparissus was careless while hunting and stabbed the deer with his javelin, thus killing it. He was so distraught that he begged Apollo to let him mourn forever, and so Apollo transformed him into a cypress tree.

Just a loose basis here, but a completely awesome theme to attempt. D': There are some issues, but overall, I'm fairly keen on this one.

I officially have a sparkle obsession. Wah.

I can't remember for the life of me where my ref photos are from. When I find them, I'll update here for anyone who wants to know - but posting notice, did use references for the figure.

very interesting! the textures and line quality are very different!
but i'm not too big on the texture in the hair it's too rendered paper look?! very nice style though :P
